INFORMATION NOTE N°1 ORGANISATION OF PROMOTE 2005

THE ESSENTIAL


1. The registration forms concern:

Form A : Stands and services
Form B : Official publications of Promote 2005
Form C : A) Participation at Forum-debate for 400 executives
: B) Renting of meeting room
: C) Announcements on Big Podium
Form D : Special advertising products.
Form E : Stand equipment rental.
Form F : Proposed assistances
Form G : Proposed sponsorings.

2. Registration and invoicing: a filled registration form calls for an invoice. This invoice can be paid in one or
many instalments. Moreover, the date of last instalment launches the priority of implementation after the closing of
registrations: 31/08/2005. Country pavilions and thematic spaces are implemented in the presence of representatives;
Promote 2005 being a multisector exhibition.

3. Stand installation: in other to occupy its stand, the exhibitor must be in possession of an entrance coupon
taken at Promote secretariat of the Conference Centre from Thursday 1st December 2005. This coupon is delivered
after commitment. Installation will last from 2nd to 5th December 6 p.m.
Exhibitors desiring more than four days for this installation should make a written demand before the 1st November 2005.
The packing and clearing of exhibits as well as dismantling of stands, can begin on the 13th December at 7 a.m. and
must be finished latest the following 14th at 6 p.m.

4. Visitors entrance permit: FCFA 500 /person. Each adult visitor receives an Official Catalogue containing an
exhibition Guide and the list of exhibitors. Children under 14 should be accompanied. Exhibitors can buy passout tickets
in advance for their clients.

5. Badges: every stand animator should have a nominative badge to be verified with I.D. card at the entrance.
4 free badges per stand. Additional badge: € 7,5 (FCFA 5.000), to be ordered at Promote secretariat from
1st December 2005. Delivery time = 24 hours.

6. Opening hours:
07.00 a.m. to 09.30 a.m: Supplying of stand with the organisator assistance
10.00 a.m. to 08.30 p.m. : Fair trade opening.. Only the organiser’s service vehicles are allowed on site. Free shuttles. Parking
on boulevards.

7. Cancelling of stand: until 31 August 2005 and exclusively by registered letter. But installation costs as well as
adverts subscriptions remain completely due.

8. Hotels booking and Airways ticketing through travelling agencies (local and foreign) List of hotels available.

9. Entrance visa: all foreigners must take an entrance visa at the nearest Cameroonian consulate. (In case of
impossibility, visa can be taken at entrance with an attestation from the organiser.)

10. Vaccines: the vaccine against yellow fever is obligatory. Other health prevention is left to the appreciation of
the exhibitor with the advice of his doctor. Prevention against malaria is strongly recommended.

11. Climate: temperature likely to that of European summer. Light dressing advised.

12. Reference currency: All prices of Promote 2005 refer to Euro for rate exchange.

13. Currency exchanges with CFA: at local banks and on site. (Bank desk)

14. Temporary entry of exhibits: contact the organiser.

15. Available on site: the organiser’s secretariat and the Business centre, Bank, clearing, custom, insurance,
travelling and mail desks. Police office, Promote security office, fire fighters and health offices, cleaning, signs fabric.
Restaurants, drinking spots and an animation podium.
